I sent an email yesterday to Dennis of Marschal Grips asking for grips for the CS9, CS49, CS45, and got a positive reply. His grips can be seen here. http://www.marschalgrips.com/ Anyway he sent me this email asking for help. I am going to do what I can, but if anyone else would like these grips please email him, and if you can send some scans or grips for the gun. You can view the early prototype here:

Michael,
You are the second this day who are looking for CS9 grips. I tried the make grips for that gun but I've failed.
Because of the big interest on these model I blow the dust off from my drawings.

I can't promise if I can make grips for that gun. I know it's hard to make grips without a frame handy.

I need your (and maybe the the 50-100 people's) help at this point.
# I need a set of grips. Must be made of hard plastic. I would be glad to pay for them. (Cash or Paypal)
# I also need two side scans of the frame with all mechanic parts removed to stay flat on the scanner's bed. That is more important than the grips! 450DPI grayscale BMP is good for me.
# After I have the scans (and maybe the grips) I will ask for measurements by marking the scanned images where to measure.
# When I have the 2nd prototype ready I need a test person who can fit the grips and tell me where and how much material to be added or removed.

I am sending pictures of the last version I've made. We just have to refine them.

Thank you in advance,
Dennis Marschalko

Money for nothing and grips for free

While you're at it;

I think you'll find there is a market as well for grips for:

4513TSW (old style with cut out)
4516
4566
4506

with a straight backstrap and not as thick as Hogues.
Or notice the profile of the 1076 style grip.
If I were in the states, I would volunteer for all of the above; but...

Cheers, TF

Tom

If you can send him an email if you are interested in a set of grips for the chief it might help move things along.
