This has been posted before, but I imagine these are unknown to most of our readers. If you haven't watched them, I encourage you to do so. There are over 50 of them and many are 30-45 minutes long, so it's about a weeks worth of lecture. They could use a wee bit of editing, but overall, they're very well done. Most important, unlike some precision shooting instructional videos sold online *cough*cough* where you feel like you're having someone read the internet to you, these are practical and I think just about everyone will benefit from watching them, even if you're an accomplished marksman. In part, this is due to the very logical approach, which recognizes much of the internet controversies over such topics as calibers, wind reading, and barrel cleaning and break in, and offers pretty clear reasoning and explanation. Despite his accent :neener: he does an excellent job of presenting some pretty esoteric technical material in a way people can easily comprehend. (I can't personally attest to the veracity of all the material, but i haven't seen anything i disagreed with yet)

In these videos he explains some interesting things like how chemicals in propellants have changed over time and what effects it has, how bronze brushes can damage steel, and some interesting bits about different types of chemical cleaners.

I don't think any of it is particularly "snipery" in the stereotypical youtube ninja/pirate nonsense. The videos are really just applicable to anyone doing precision rifle shooting looking to get first round hits at unknown distances.

Here's a link to the channel with all the videos in order

In particular, I'd recommend the following topics which seem to suffer disproportionately from internet myths:

Thanks indeed - I have been looking for more web-based shooting related infotainment seeing as I have mostly exhausted the supply on Netflix and dont wish to pay for cable/satellite.

I've watched all his videos. They are all thoughtful and well done. There is a LOT of information about long range shooting on his channel. Fair warning though, they will cause GAS (gun acquisition syndrome) I've already bought a rifle, scope, and ammo I didn't really need after watching them.

Little different than some other videos I've seen ehich say never clean the copper....which I know from experience to be bad advice......also he said use WD40...heads will spin there :p

Have this saved, just never find the time to sit and watch them. Very good info in the few I have managed to watch.

I had things to do, so I just let the first 6 run in the background and listened as I worked. I like his practical approach and he doesn't seem to try to impress (also a plus). After going through the 'What Cartridge' section, I've decided 12ga #7.5 is my sniper rifle round (availability sealed the deal...). :)

he doesn't seem to try to impress (also a plus).
It is a huge plus for me, I hate all the extra crap some people add in.

Just the facts please, just the facts. :)

yeah, i think he does his "trying to impress" in the shooting clips instead of running his mouth (like some others i could mention *ahem*), but the shooting clips are enjoyable and educational to watch and the music is good so I actually like it.
