So, a nation with extraordinarily strict gun control has much lower lever of violent crime, and especially violent crime involving firearms. Here, read this, and then either laugh of cry:

Mexican citizens do need their RKBA, a right they supposedly gained after the revolution but which has been reduced to nothing.


However I don't think this guy is an ideal posterboy.


I particularly had to chuckle at the closing description of his father:

He started his career as a school teacher and died a billionaire after a life in public service.

You don't typically become a billionaire in Latin America or Mexico as a public servant without being highly corrupt.
Maybe he was a great entrepreneur, but I am more inclined to believe he benefited from life as a corrupt official and then invested his ill gotten wealth in legitimate enterprises.
