For thoes who used Andy's gun shop in NY for winchester solid ribs for there model 12's and model 42's, we are now making our own solid ribs.
There are prices on our web site however we have yet to post pictures of them, we will do that as soon as Mike gets time, his wood work jobs have him working 6 days a week.
The ribs are winchester style 16 wavy line, 3 thou. deep and they are milled from solid bar stock, not laser engraved.
We could not get the pattern good enough with the laser. they are CNC'd and all i know is i want my own CNC set-up after doing this project.
The solid ribs will work on any single barrel or over-under shotgun, each one is hand fit and soldered by a very tired Jim Clark (quite a common name for gun smiths).
The raw barrel and rib are held between centers and adjusted for wanted POI, than the rib is milled flat and true.
The wavy line pattern is milled in the rib after that than de-bured, bead blasted and polished, the rib is a matte finish.
