I am new to THR, and to reloading rifle ammo. I recently inherited some nice reloading stuff, however, there are quite a number of items I simply do not need or want. So I am trying to figure out how to get rid of them. I was hoping that before I dump them (legally), perhaps someone here might want this stuff or have a better idea as to what to do with it. Any help / advice is appreciated.
I have about:
7 cans of IMR 4064
3 of IMR 4898
1 of 700x
1 of 4831
1 Hogdon H110
1 Herc 2400
Then I also have a bunch of 25 caliber bullets. About 17 boxes in total of various weights and manufacturers incl. Hornady, Speer, Remington..etc.
With this said, some of this looks older (1990's?) but seems in decent condition. I also have some newer factory loads of .25-06 that needs to go too. I don't want any $ at all, so if someone local can use it (I won't ship as I have no idea what is legal to ship), they can have it. Or if someone knows how to properly dispose of this stuff, it would be appreciated. I am in CT.
If this is an inappropriate post - let me know - I am a newbie!!!

Well, I really don't want to sell them. It may sound strange, but I would rather just give them away to someone who would make good use of them, rather than just them sitting in my basement.

You can't ship them without doing the hazmat thing, so someone needs to pick them up. FYI.

Too bad, I could really use more 4895 for my Garand loads.

Sounds like you need to BUY something, maybe something in a 25-06?
I had a Weatherby in .25-06, but the gun simply wouldn't group, so I sold it. I thank the government for free shooting lessons, but now it simply bugs the heck out of me when a gun doesn't shoot well! (That and when I got some guns that did shoot well, I never wanted to shoot the other stuff again!). I did shoot a nice 15" pronghorn with it, though.

It also turns out I will be in CT a few times in the next couple of weeks. I'd be interested in some of the powder.

Wish I were closer.

Put it in a yard sale for half of the going price. Someone will grab it up and brag about the bargain they got.

Then donate the $$ to the local animal shelter or a youth outdoors program.

Everyone wins!
