I have reload data for a 158 jacketed bullet in .357 magnum..is it safe to start here with a 158 grain lead bullet? 7.2 grains N350 and a 158 grain LSWC?

Generally speaking you shouldn't use jacketed data for lead bullets. There can often be a big difference in the powder charges, enough to tread lightly with what data you use for lead. Here is data from Vihtavuori, notice the lead starting charge is .4 grs. less, and the maximum charge is .6 gr. less than jacketed data. Although, I am surprised to see that the starting pressures are actually higher with the lead data. , which may explain why lead generally runs on a lighter powder charge than jacketed, maybe lead runs higher pressures? Either way, be sure the data you use is consistent with lead bullets of the type and hardness your loading.

For the a 160 gr. intercast PB-FN
OAL is 1.589"
Powder charge is 8.0 grs. - 8.9 grs.
Velocity is 1252 fps - 1360 fps
Pressure range is 27,600 - 36,300 psi.

Jacketed data for the 158 gr. JHP-SWC is
OAL 1.575"
Powder- N350 - 8.4 grs.- 9.5 grs.
Pressure range 26,800 - 36,300

Others have provided good info. Just wanted to say, don't apologize for being a noob. We all were, once. And we never stop learning.

Remember, there's Newb and Noob.

You're learning... therefore the first term is more appropriate.

"I'm filling the cases by stacking them on the table, then pouring the can of powder over the tops of them, while smoking a Macanudo, why aren't my charges even, and why did my powder explode while I was working? "

THAT would be Noob.
