It should be no surprise to anyone that the price of bullets has gone up an obscene amount over the last year or so. That said, my question for those here is "Where is the best price on 9mm 124 gr JHP's or FMJ's?" I am interested in a source that can reliably ship case quantities (3,000 - 4,000 per case), not take weeks or months to fill order, and not cost a fortune.

Same question for .224 dia. 55gr FMJ-BT.

I recently bought from Montana Gold but is there anyone with better prices for a jacketed bullet?

Cost drove me to using cast lead. Best source I have found for cast lead is my casting table. I can easily crank out 400-500 in an hour and a half usinmg 2 - LEE 6 cavity molds and a Lee bottom pour pot. Get all I want that way. Around .02 each, even figuring in some electricity.

Cant help you on the bullets but if you need 9mm brass, shoot me a PM I have boodles of it I'm looking to unload pretty cheap.

I buy a 1,000 bullets at a time from MidwayUSA. I get 40 cal Rainier plated hollow points for $122 shipped. This a good bullet and can be loaded to medium high jacketed speeds.

For fmj or jhp, try Zero (through Ghostholster or Rose Dist), Precision Delta (direct from mfr), or Armscor (through Advanced Tactical). All cost about the same as Montana Gold, more or less. The days of cheap bulk are gone.

For surplus or pulled fmj bullets try Wideners (and check with tjconvera to see if theirs are pulled or surplus).

For copper plated 9mm, try Xtreme (direct) or Berry's (direct from mfr or through Cabela's) or Ranier (Cabela's or MidwayUSA).

It depends on what you are looking for. I just ordered 500 125g .357mag bullets for $25.

And their soft cast gas checked 158g SWC-HPs give me bad thoughts.

I think I placed my order about 40min after rimrock posted the link. My CC didnt want to run so I called him. He guessed who I was and was very helpfull and a really nice guy.

The test of a bullet is in the shooting so we shall see, but in terms of customer satisfaction they are all ready looking good to me.
