Several years ago my wife bought some Lapua 7.62x39 FMJ at a gun show. This was fantastic ammunition and I'd like to get some more to see how accurate the SKS and SAR-1 can be with really good ammunition. The only problem is, nobody around here seems to sell it anymore.
Is this still available, or has Lapua stopped importing 7.62x39?
What Russian ammo would be most comparable in quality? (I stay away from American-made 7.62x39 due to the soft non-milspec primers, which would worry me about the potential for slamfires.)
