MR. Murray will publish the specs for the 7x46mm cartridge in few days. This is the same person that designed the 6.8 Spc.

When he designed the 6.8SPC for the SOCOM, he also started working on an intermediary combat cartridge, that would not have to deal with the limits and size imposed by the AR15 platform.
7x46mm UIAC is designed for rifles/carabines and general purpose MG's, and optimized to work good in short barrels.
