Hello All,

I have a Springfield P9 9mm Para in which the slide lock pin has broken down the middle.

I was looking around online and found some people stating that the EAA corporation makes replacement parts as the pre bankrupted Springfield Corp is no longer around but I am unable to locate one.

Further research I found that Midway USA has one for a CZ 75 and looking around online I found that these replacement parts may work for the Springfield P9.

My question is will the slide pin work from Midway for my Springfield P9 or does anybody have any suggestions where I can find one. Thank you for any input.

The P9 AFAIK is a Tangfolio pistol that Springfield imported before EAA took over.
I would check with EAA if their current link works in the P9.

In fact, many of the small frame Tanfoglio slide stops worked in CZs, too. (I once had an extended slide stop for a Tanfoglio gun that I used in a CZ Compact.)

Tanfoglio would should be your first and best next step...

You should be able to find a number of compatible slides tops -- as long as they are for a gun with a comparable frame/slide.

Get a couple of spares. My P9 broke one then the replacement has now gone 15 years with no problems. I swear it is because it knows the spare is in the toolbox just waiting to be used...
