I ordered 5000 Fed GM primers from Mid-South early in the week, and they arrived right on time by FEDEX today. Whew. I feel a lot better.

But I want to take up this bit of web space to say we have some real stand-up suppliers/vendors in this hobby - Mid-South included. There are a few stinkers, but they get caught out, and cajoled into improving their service or driven to do less business. It is particularly nice right now to see the good ones not price gouging when they could.

My favorites are Greg Cote LLc for magazines, Starline for Brass, Berry's for bullets, Bud's for guns, and Mid-South for ammo, Speed Shooter Specialties for S&W parts, etc. In the past, I have successfully gone to Top Gun Supply and Ammo-to-Go, Able Ammo, and Natchez. I won't list the few stinkers that I've run into, but if someone asks for comments on XXXX or YYYY, I'm always be glad to throw in my two cents.

My point? Only that we are lucky to have a community of good people that extends to the vendors as well as the practitioners of the hobby.

I have some bullets coming from Mid South right now. They are good to deal with. You are right, for the most part we are lucky to have so many good vendors to shop with.

I agree, Midsouth Shooters are great to deal with. I almost buy from no one other than Midsouth and Powder Valley lately.

I buy from a local gun shop only a mile from my house most of the time. Great prices and no shipping or hazmet charges. I just picked up 500 bullets this week to do some more reloading.

MidSouth
PV
Grafs
Shooters Connection
TJ Conevera
Zero
Montana Gold
Berry's
Greg Cote (for mags)

All have treated me well and shipped fast at a fair price or free--the good guys

HighRoadRover: I did exactly the same and also got mine today.

I've had great luck with:

Midway USA
Powder Valley
Graf's
Natchez
Mid-South
Champion's Choice

Good people to deal with, all of them in my experience. Dillon too, great to deal with. They carry bullets and brass along with their other equipment.

I mostly deal with these companies, haven't dealt much with others. I'm sure I missed some good companies out there.

Oh yeah, Missouri Bullet Company was excellent as well. Quick delivery and decent prices.

HighRoadRover - excellent topic.
This is what http://www.thehighroad.org is supposed to be about.

Taking the high road is commenting on the good & leaving the bad alone.

In all of my reloading experience I think Missouri Bullet Co (MBC) has been my favorite supplier to deal with.
But I've also had outstanding service from others as well.

Rocky Mountain Reloading ( aka thr member - Longdayjake )( bullets )
Power Bond Bullets ( more bullets )
Widener's ( Tokarev ammo - for the brass )
Mid-south ( various items )
Zero Bullets ( when they're in stock )
Graf & sons (various items)
Greg Cote LLC (inexpensive magazines for my 1911)

I have dealt with most of the before-mentioned firms. Would like to add Hi-tech ammo and Wideners as good to deal with. Also jeff Bartlett at GIBrass.com.

In addition to Mid South, my favorites are Rocky Mountain, Misouri Bullet and Montana Gold. They're pretty much the only companies I buy bullets from.

I have used:

Midway
Widener's
Graf and Sons
Powder Valley
Falcon Bullet Company
Missouri Bullet Company
Zero

with NO problems! All are good suppliers.

Missouri bullets, they also sell starline brass - .357 .45 .44mag 45colt. Buy some bullets then max out the shipping charge with brass.

Also natchez has been draining my bank account lately. Good prices, fair shipping charges and no issues. Just make sure and delete their catalog from your cart, they charge you to ship it.
