I've been shooting a little informal 3-gun for the past 2 years or so and my gear has been OK. Well, I shot in a 2-gun match (rifle and handgun) yesterday and realized that I need to upgrade in a very bad way. I've been using a fobus paddle holster and a paddle mag holster. Obviously, these need to go.

With 3 kids and a wife, my budget isn't much. I don't plan on shooting many multi-gun matches, but when I do, I want to be well equipped.

Basically, what I want is a belt, holster and mag holster as well as a shotgun shell caddy. I already have 2 AR mag holsters from blade tech.

Here's what I'm looking at. I based everything on price for the most part and all the reviews seem positive on everything:

California Comp Works She'll Caddy

Gilmore Sports Competition Belt

So, is this a good start?

Thanks!

cheap kydex holster from CDNN or the like... $14

Cheap kydex mag pouches $7

leather belt

maybe an AR mag pouch... if your club needs 3 mags/90 rounds to get through a stage. Mine never has.

Shotgun... if your club has lots of high-round-count shotgun stages, yes, the california belt carriers are nice, if you can load 3-4 at once. My club rarely has more than about 15-20 rounds of shotgun before dumping it, so I do okay with 9 in the gun and 12 on the gun (6 round sidesaddle and 6 round butt cuff), plus a cheap bandolier for a few more shells.

I'm slow, though. :D

You implied you were cheap... I guess not as cheap as me. :)
I am. Which kydex holster and mag pouches are you using that are as cheap as the prices you gave? :p

Seriously. (I did search CDNN, BTW. Found nothing in the holster/mag dept that's designed for a Glock 19 :()
