Ah yes, the old restroom problem. There's something about a restroom that makes people confused, but I don't know what it is. I'd be glad to show him how to place the handgun somewhere where he'll see it before he leaves.

Is that really "stolen," or just "found?"

So he lost it on the Thursday night before Veterans Day observed and did not notice until Monday. He really can not say when it went missing for sure. But that is probably a good guess.

That was a dumb move. But lets be honest, it could happen to any of us. HOWEVER, I would notice my piece was missing in about 5 minutes, not 4 days. He was probably afraid to say anything.

Don't they make one with a lanyard loop like on the military pistols? That and a short length of chain would surely improve his memory.:p I surely would never want to loose one that way. I agree they should not call it "stolen" no matter how they want to spin the story.

In the library rest room. I suspect he at least has a chance of getting it back. You would expect that there isn't a lot of low life that spend time there.
If not returned soon however than the finder is to scared they will get into trouble to turn it in, or the gun may already be in Mexico.
