Hi everyone just ordered a 5.15 inch tactical length barrel from storm lake. The barrel will be for a Glock model 20 in 10mm.

My question is does anyone have any experience with these barrels and also what was your wait time for delivery like?

Thank you

I have used them in the past, and they work just fine. Can't speak to the delivery time issue though, as it's been a while.

I have installed their hard fit barrels in a number of 1911 guns for competition (my own and customer's) and they are 1st quality and will outshoot most humans. Great barrels for the price they charge. Can't comment on delivery times as there are too many factors involved between manufacturing and getting them to your door. All of mine came from Brownells and came very quickly.

I got a 40s&w barrel for my glock 23. So far it has worked flawlessly. The finish was also good on mine. Although midway listed it as some fitting required, but mine dropped in.

I have a Storm Lake on my P14-45. Ordered a "Drop-in" -- it didn't. Called them, "Because of the ramped barrel on the Para, sometimes a little fitting is required. Found a good 1911 'smith -- $110 later and it shoots like a dream. Wait time was less than 10 days -- on the original order. Gunsmith had it for two weeks.

I got one for my Colt Commander and I was very impressed with its overall quality and precision. I got it in less than a week from Brownells.

Hmmm ... looks like I may put the KKM barrel pursuit aside and consider getting a Storm Lake barrel for the G22 (I already have Lone Wolf 40/40-9 conversion barrels but have a ready buyer for them if I got replacements).

Here are pictures of my Lone Wolf 40S&W barrel for comparison. It has shorter leade than factory Glock barrel and fully supported chamber that is tight (cases do not bulge regardless of the load I use). When shooting .401" sized lead bullets, .421" taper crimp will barely fully chamber them (but I do like my chambers tight).

Any counter comments from KKM users? I do not have any issues doing the final fitting on the KKM barrel to my Glock if it was needed (have a well used diamond file set :D). If you can post pictures of Storm Lake/KKM barrels, I would appreciate it too.
