I overheard the following conversation in Austin, Texas. One of the participants responses specifically annoyed the heck out of me.
Person A: So my brother got shot....
Person B: That's horrible, is he okay?
Person A: Yah, the doctor says he'll be fine within the year, and at least he got the guys...
Person B: Got them, you mean he was able to identify them or something?
Person A: No, my brother carries a gun, he shot them both, got one in the skull. They came after him as he was closing up his restaurant.
Person B: Your brother carries a gun, what is he, in the mafia or something?!
Person A: No he has a license...
Person B: Weird...
