Suggestions for 342 in Smartcarry

I have been using a smartcarry to tote the 342. The handle sticks out a good bit. Anyone have any suggestions? The thing looks like a banana in my pants. I was thinking of buying some wood grips and shaving off some of the grip on the panel that faces out to reduce the bulge. Anyone have any other ideas to help hide it better?
