I have a Bog saddle type bipod and have been wanting to get a ball head with arca clamp.
I was going to get a Sunwayfoto ball head and a tripod from Hog Saddle.
I seen the Sunwayfoto T2830CS that's pretty much all in one for $250 so I picked it up.
36mm integrated ball head with 28mm carbon fiber tubes, rated for 44lbs.
They have one with 32mm tubes but 28mm is plenty for what I have.
Weighs 3lbs and doesn't take up much space.
1/4 twist to lock makes adjusting pretty quick on the legs.
57" tall fully extended and locks up solid.
Much smaller than a Bog.
Comes with spikes for the 1/4 twist to lock legs.
QD plate for both Pic and Arca rail.
A lot more steady vs the Bog, not so jittery and moves very smooth.
Now I just have to convert the Bog to a ball head, it'll lose 2 pounds and be more stable.
