Hi all,
I'm thinking about taking the plunge into AK-land. Specifically, an AK-74 from Centerfire Systems. And I'll need to feed the thing, so I'm looking to get some cans of surplus ammo.
On Centerfire's site, they have 1000 rounds of 60 grain, non corrosive ammo for $230 plus $15 or so in shipping. Over on AIM surplus they have 1080 rounds of the corrosive stuff, 53 grain, for $130 plus I don't know how much for shipping.
I'm brand new to the surplus ammo world. Any recommendations? Is there a difference in performance? If the only difference is that I have to rinse the barrel, I can deal with that.
