surprised at the fit & finish

big stock order arrives yesterday, gotta check serial #'s and list them all into "the book".. most guns in this order I'm familiar with except for (2): Bersa Thunder 9mm, & .380 // they look & feel very nice. :confused: they are kinda inexpensive but fit, finish, trigger(sa+da) seem great. I expected much less. even trigger pull was smoother & lighter than expected. I hope they are rugged as well but I can't shoot them:banghead: has anyone shot the heck out of one of these? the "Thunder" series has been around a long time.:rolleyes:
 
I owned a Thunder for many years... For the money they really are put together well. It also was the LOUDEST .380 I have ever touched off. As I recall it was a hefty little sucker, but it has been15 years or so so I could be mistaken.
 
OK thanks, if they hold up well (such as yours) it seems to be a good purchase. price compares with kel-tec; (2) I've handled had very stiff triggers. otherwise they seem to be another bargain auto. the Bersa 9mm is locked-breech, the 380 is blowback
 
I haven't shot any of the "Thunder" series, but my wife has one of the Firestorm 22's that she has literally put thousands of rounds through. Great little gun, and just as tight today as the day she got it.
 
these posts are giving me confidence. I took a chance stocking autos that I never handled. your wife's firestorm is the old name for the thunder series. glad it held up for her... does the firestorm have "Bersa" written anywhere on it?
 
I have a Bersa Thunder .380 CC with about 1000 rounds through it. It is rock solid reliable and hasn't had a failure since the first couple hundred rounds (break in). It is a fun little gun to shoot and is pretty accurate up to 15 yards. Recoil is very manageable, the ergonomics are great and the grip is quite comfortable. At 16.5oz, it makes a great gun for pocket carry. The only gripe I have is the finish, which is wearing off along the bottom of the slide and the linkage. For a $300 gun, I don't think I've got anything to complain about.

Yep. Sure does. Both on gun itself, the grips (moulded rubber) and on the box. It's a nice litte gun. Only likes CCI Mini-Mags to run 100%, but it will run all day on them. She carried it for a couple of years, until she decided she wanted a Glock 19. I carry it it the tackle box now when we're fishing. Not a great picture. Sorry.
