Ok.

This is scary. Ernest Langdon is now with S&W. Now I'm going to have to learn how to take this damn slide apart.

How do I swap the firing pin spring? Nina is coming up on 25,000 rounds (20,000? 30,000? Elephino)

It won't budge...the firing pin 1/16" pin thingy. Should I push harder or will I break something?

Damn...first step got ya!! I think mine is staked in on one side if I'm not mistaken, so maybe that is what is giving you the trouble? If not, maybe it is just sticking from all the grime and possible corrosion?? Soak it with some type of penetrating oil (Kroil will work if you have some). Are you using the correct sized punch?

Hmm. maybe it's the grime. Probably the improper tools. I'm using a Leatherman with a 1/16" thingy :D
