Here is a specfic question. I do not need a recomendation for another scope. I just want to know your expierences with the following scope.

The BSA sweet .22, in 2-7x32. Mounted on a ruger 10/22 for plinking. Also to be used for outdoor target range shooting.

Thanks,
e'trode

JUNK! DON'T DO IT! Save up for something, anything else. I had a BSA on my .22lr 10/22 for about 2 weeks and about 200 rounds. It was a variable power close to the size of the one you mentioned. They are absolute JUNK!. The eyepiece wobbled all around and it seemed to change point of impact often. I went to the range 3 times and every time I would get it back on target and then move to a different rifle, when I would come back to shoot it it was hitting a different POI. And no, it wasn't a hot vs. cold barrel thing. I spent plenty of time waiting between shots so I could rule that out of the problem. You could do just as well with no sights looking down the barrel. I couldn't sell it, and I would have felt bad for selling it, so I donated it to the Salvation Army.

I have one (3-9x40) and while it will track and repeat, the BDC is WAY off. I won'y buy another one, but I'll keep the one I have because it does work. It's on a Romanian M 1969 training rifle.

My teenage son has one on a Gamo 850 spring powered pellet rifle. It works fine there. No issues what-so-ever. You get what you pay for. I would not put one on anything more than a .22.

Thanks for the info. all. I will look elsewhere for a scope. I might just stick with an inexpensive (within reason) 4x32 fixed power I have been looking at.

Thanks again,
