I figured out how to remove the striker on the taurus 24/7 and mil pro. The first thing you do is clear the weapon and field strip the gun. Take the slide and turn it upside down. Look at The end cap. It is just a plastic cap that has a hook holding it on. Take a small flat blade srewdriver and pry the hook end up and slide the cap off. Be careful not to break the hook off because it is just plastic. After you get the plastic cap off the striker comes off a lot like the firing pin in a 1911. take a small round object ( I use a small phillips screw driver) and push the round knob that was exposed when you took off the end cap. Push that knob in past the end plate and pull up on the end plate. It should just come out if you have the striker spring pushed in fall enough. It may be tight. after the end plate comes off the striker spring should pop out a little. It won't fly across the room so don't worry. You can then slide the striker out. There is a very small spring infront of the striker that rides on a little rod. Don't lose this spring it is very small. You can now clean the striker channel and other parts if you want to. reassemble in the reverse order. I really is not as hard as it sounds. IF you have taken the firing pin out of a 1911 you can do this. ;) I have a 24/7 and a mil pro they are both the same but parts dont completely interchange.

I cannot speak about the 24/7 but my Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro had a great trigger out of the box that gets smoother the more I shoot it. I am an old revolver guy and I really the DAO trigger on the PT-145.
