Hey folks:
Just got my first revolver. It's a Taurus 431 (hence the title of this post, I guess!) and I have to say I'm really pleased. There's just something about a 3" barrel on a revolver that really appeals to me. I had been hunting for an S&W model 19 with the 2 1/2", but no luck, so I went with this instead.

Dating it on the Taurus site told me that it was made in 1993, and it's in excellent shape. I'd rate it at 96%. I love the big ol' honkin' grips on it!

The only problem I'm experiencing is finding a holster for it. I need to find a paddle because I work for the State of Georgia, and am constantly taking my pistols off an on as I go into state buildings. I carry all my semi-autos in Fobus (Fobii?) paddles, but can't seem to find one to fit this model, so I guess I'm going to have to look elsewhere. Oh, I only wear OWB's too.

So, Does anyone know of a good paddle available for this thing?

Thanks,
..Joe

Hi Joe,
I used to own a 431 and it would fit nicely in any leather holster that was designed for a 2.5" S&W K/L frame. I never had a paddle for it, but the belt holsters would work great. I would think this would apply to paddles as well.I used a Galco FL112 OWB for a 2.5" S&W K/L frame that I picked up used for $30.
Hope this helps,
Rob
