Looking to pick up the carbine version of the Taurus Model 72 in .22 Mag.

Does anybody have one? and how does it rate for accuracy, reliability, and durability?

There doesn't seem to be too many options on the market now for fast handling (carbine length, semi-auto) shooters in this caliber. I would love to have a BRNO ZKM-611, but the prices ($700+) for an NIB sample is way too much. As such, I figure a pump action is as close as I'm going to get.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have been looking for a Taurus 72. I do have a Taurus 172 that
is an excellent little rifle. It is "handy" and well balanced. I can
close my hand around the action and it is light weight and easy
to carry. The sights are coarse which is good for my aged eyesight.
It holds 9 17HMR cartridges in the tubular magazine. Overall the
finish and workmanship seem decent.
