Today I got my Taurus P-25 out of the gun cabinet and prepared to go to the shooting range. Before I left I thought I would check the gun and see if everything was OK. I loaded the magazine, pulled the slide back, and let it go and it loaded the first bullet. I then pulled the slide back again but the first bullet did not eject and it jammed the second bullet into the first when I let the slide go forward. I have never done this proceedure with this gun before and I have only shot it a couple of times. I tried this several times with the same results each time. I have a couple of other semi-autos and they will eject with manual racking of the slide. I did not get a chance to shoot the gun at the range due to too much time shooting clays but was wondering if my Taurus is not designed to eject while racking manually. Does anyone know?
Thanks in advance for any info. I still have a lot to learn about semi-autos.
