Taurus PT-145 Front sight snags!

I'm sick of it. Besides the Williams fire sights (also square), are there any other options out there? If you've got the same problems with any gun, what'd you do? I don't want to have to buy another holster, so that option's out.
Possibly contour it slightly??

Sure. Why not. You can round it without changing the height, and therefre point of aim.
