Hello. I just got my new Mill Pro in from Buds Gunshop. I liked the looks of the PT140 in "Desert Tan". Well, it's not exactly "tan" in color. It's more like an olive drab color. It is not quite as dark a green as the Kel-tec pistols are. On Buds website the Taurus looked a light tan color. It was configured with the blue slide and looked pretty cool.
Well, the gun I received looks just as good as the misrepresented one on the website. I absolutely love they way this one looks. I took it out after cleaning off all the packing grease and put 100 rounds of WWB thru it without any malfunctions. I didn't need this particular gun, but something about the odd color was calling my name.
I already have a PT145 in blue/stainless that is an excellent CCW piece. I shot it along with the PT140 today as well. I now have 5 Taurus firearms--model 85UL, 605, PT22, PT145 and the PT140. I am very satisfied so far with all my Taurus guns.
How about it? Anybody else have good luck with Taurus besides me? I also just ordered another P3at in green frame to go along with my black one from Buds.
