Taurus TCP

I've been quite happy with mine. It's much more comfortable for me to shoot than the P3AT or the LCP. I haven't had any malfunctions, and I can shoot it much more accurately than I expected for such a small gun.

The 2 tcp's in our family are very reliable with any number of hollow point ammo. Just no issues at all.

kokapelli I will stand by what I said too about the triggers being smooth and lite at 4lb . And that's from a guy that CC's between 3 larger kahrs with RP strinker springs .

Your reference to the p238. Its a short pull, That's the best I can say?? The few I have swapped handguns with at the range over time keep the same response from me . I think they have some of the worse sa trigger pulls out there. They have to be 7 to 8lbs. The baby kahr feels like any other kahrs to me good smooth and very close to 6lbs .

Mine gets a lot of carry time. More than my sigP238 because I don't worry about scratching it up while working on the ground etc. mag extension is a good idea as well as polishing the feed ramp for HP's. Also they wil Not cycle cheap Tula ammo for practice. A little snappy as can be expected. Probly the lightest & simplest CCW. Mines 100% reliable.

Apples and oranges. A four pound trigger on a pistol carried in a pocket like the TCP is fine, but with the very short travel the P238's trigger has is not what I would want in my pocket.

Well that's for sure. I just don't want a pocket pistol with a exterior safety and a sa trigger. That would make the baby sigs on my never to own list . I grew up a revolver shooter . Trigger with some length of pull have never been hard to become good with it if smooth and not to darn heavy but I do like a nice light sa too just not as a defense handgun. A keep the light short sa triggers for fun or hunting. heavy sa need work.

My Wifey carries a 24/7-C compact in 9mm, works like a charm...
however, it had one bad mag initially, the mag was sent back and they sent a new one...
and it did receive a fluff & buff from me shortly afterwards,
but I do that to every semi-auto in the safe anyway...
keeps me busy in Winter when its too nasty outside to go anywhere ;)
