Another aspect would be for consideration of multiple, inexpensive, "Friday+1 Evening Specials" **GASP** scattered around the home.
This to address mobility issues faced by a growing proportion of seniors who can't reach a safe room (where they can access their defense and communications hardware) when suddenly facing an intruder induced situation. Much better to have the hardware come within easy reach upon need, rather than trying to outrace an athletic challenge by the zombie(s).
Or... CARRY IT (on you) before you are carried by six to the back forty!!

I like it very much. But personally, to me, an "all-American" rifle like an AR-15 or a Mini-14 makes the same point without the AK-47s "baggage."

I am trying to mainstream AKs and "black rifles".
BTW... Nice font choice as well as text coloring job in the second statement. I almost didn't notice it... perhaps I'm starting to need eyeglasses too!
And yet there is another subtle and understated concept in the photo... it's that the elderly AK (now 60 years old) has it's own set of spectacles as well. There is something to be said about duality... and whatever it is, I guess the photo already says it!
But as it is, I think it's ready for distribution far and wide. Job well done.
