I have an Oly "Plinker" and a pre-ban telescoping stock. Can I legally mount the telescoping stock to my "Plinker"?

With the death of the AWB assuming you have no state laws stopping you (not knowing what state you're in), yes, mount anything you want.

I revieved my telescoping stock from Bushmaster yesterday in good old WA its still perfectly legal. I also realized how easy it would have been to make a weapon illegal according to the ban. It took less than 20 minutes for me to install and didn't make my XM-15 any more dangerous.

"didn't make my XM-15 any more dangerous"

You obviously did not install it correctly. An AR with a properly mounted telescopic stock should be able to kill all kittens within a 6 mile radius.

It's not so much the telescoping stock that is dangerous as it is the bayonet lug. Ballistic studies have proven that the presence if that small metal stud will increase the rifle's lethality by ten-fold!

A 'post-ban' can do that anyway. You just need the ability to walk a few miles and hold a good sight picture.

Sorry, had to...

Mike

PS And I like cats!

Thank You for the expert input, I knew I was keeping that stock for the past 15 years for SOME reason.:D
