I am inheriting a couple of old firearms from the family. One is a very old double barrel flintlock shotty of some type. The other is below.

If I were to guess I would say it is a Winchester 62 or 62A but I know very little about these old pump smallbores so I could be wrong. So could somebody give me some idea of what this is and a little history.

I do not have the firearm in my possession so the picture is all the info I have at this point.

Looks like a model 62 to me too but I think Winchester also made an older model pump action .22. I think it was called a model 1890, but I don't remember for sure. It has been a long time since I read about it.

Looks like a 62 to me also. Great rifles, I have fond memories of shooting a 22 magnum model 62 that was my grandpa's when I was young.

I bought a Rossi clone of that rifle for my dad a while abck. Vey cool little rifle. Hold the trigger back and pump away :D

This one had a very interesting reciever, which is what turned my dad onto it the most I think.

I don't have possession yet. I am leaning towards a model 62 but I will know more when I can actually take a look at the writing / serial numbers on the gun.

Thanks guys.
