Check with your county election board; but early voting should begin around February 18th. The TSRA Voters Guide for the Primary can be found here: http://www.tsrapac.com/templates/rt_solarsentinel_j15/2014%20Voters%20Guide.pdf

We have a lot of good pro-RKBA candidates to choose from; but there are a few really dedicated, true-believers who have worked behind the scenes for decade to push RKBA in Texas and could use your help. Please take some time to research the candidates and help the good ones make it through the primary season.

Hopefully gun owners can come to a general consensus and make the votes matter by picking one. In any case, good luck Texas.

Tough choices, too bad so many A rated are leaving the legislature in search for higher office. I fear we could lose some good ones and their replacements may not be as good for us.

I would just note that an "A+" rating means they went above and beyond and carried TSRA-supported legislation through the backroom deals and/or sponsored such a bill. I would definitely give those candidates some extra consideration.

Voted at lunch. A whopping two voters all day had voted in the Dem primary. Looks like all the action is in the Republican primary.

Very satisfying results. Counting the votes for the 2 main candidates for Gov., the Dems would lose 2-1.

Greg Abbott is a very strong pro 2nd amendment supporter while Wendy Davis is anti gun, as I would expect since she is a staunch Democrat.

The other main state races were won by Republicans with strong pro 2nd views and their challengers were on the fence.

The main votes in Nov. should be interesting.

The problem I saw was many of the conservative candidates were saying they would do things about things their office would have no capacity to affect. Buzz word politics....but what the heck...I'm a one button voter anyway. Straight republican party vote...especially in Texas.

Still got some run-offs to vote for later. I hope I'm wrong, but I think we are going to miss not having A+ rated Jerry Patterson :(
