TEXAS: TSRA Alert Needs Action Before Wed. Feb. 7

On Wednesday morning, Feb. 7, 2007, the Texas Senate Committee on Transportation & Homeland Security will consider SB 112, TSRA & NRA-backed legislation to prohibit the seizure and confiscation of legally-possessed firearms during a state of emergency or natural disaster. This would prevent the taking of lawfully-owned guns from honest citizens trying to protect themselves, such as what happened in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Please contact Senators on this committee before Wednesday, Feb. 7. Urge their vote to pass SB 112 out of committee and out of the Senate.

Perry ex ordered shots of the hpv vaccine for 6th grade chicks.
bzzzt if he ex orders something like that he would have no problemo ordering firearms confiscations.

You can opt out of the vaccine by filling out a form, so it is not mandatory as the press has erroneously reported. Either way, let's try and keep this thread somewhat on track and firearms-related.
