Good morning.

We have all read about the current situation. At most of my local stores, prices are way up, and stock is low.

My local Scheel's store, however, has been holding proces to the pre panic level. Most of what comes in goes right back out, and stocks are low, but the prices and service remain the same. I had considered a purchase and showed up half an hour too late back in May. I was patient, and yesterday I bought My Little Pony:

It was at the same price as last spring.

Just wanted to echo the OP's sentiments. I believe I was visiting the same location last week (lincoln southpoint) unless there's another scheels in Nebraska i'm unaware of. I caught them right as they were loading up the shelves with tons of Independence 5.56 (20rds, $10.99). Signs were up to limit purchases to 100 rounds of rifle ammo per customer, but I was offered by the store clerk to buy a case of 1000 for $450 if I wanted. I had to decline, but thank you's to Scheels and their employee's for keeping it real and being helpful and informative.

Edit: Now if only i could find any .22lr I'd be a happy camper.

acarmine,

There is a Scheel's in Omaha also. I bought my new pistol at the store on 168th and West Dodge Road
