The stars of Whittington, my nephew Josh and his friend Clayton, came over this afternoon...
"We want to shoot."
"Did you bring your BB guns?"
"No, we want to shoot the BIG gun."
We got out Sandy's SXS 28 ga Baikal, a few boxes of reloads, and the Trius One Step.
This is Clayton shooting. And I must say Josh has really nice form, for an eleven year old.
The boys each broke a clay or two, and then Sandy had them set the unbroken clays in the field and gave them our Daisies with no sights, with instructions to walk the field and "shoot 'em when you see 'em, no aiming." They ran that drill until the 100 degree heat got to them.
The second shot shows why you need an adult when using the Trius.
