My wife and I were watching the news this morning when a story about a woman who ownes a chimpanze had to call police to stop the chimp from viciously attacking her friend.
Anyway, the chimp owner had called the police which took them almost 6 minutes to respond while the animal was tearing her friend apart.
My wife stated, to my surprise, if the owner had a handgun or any firearm she could have taken steps to minimize the attack. As it was the attack lasted 12 minutes.
Like the saying "When seconds count the police are only minutes away".
