Another federal court has upheld a states assault weapons ban. Many of us have felt for years that the AR platform has taken the shotguns place as the long gun of choice for our time. This court says not so. Millions of these guns are in civilian hands, many of us have multiples.
Will we eventually see the demise of the Semi Auto long gun? It's a gun that's hard to explain to soccer moms and the like.
