The Dreaded ADCOM 5.56 1999 batch

This has been warned on other AR15 websites regarding the yellow box
ADCOM 5.56 year 1999 batch:

Out of 60 rds of ADCOM, 3 had primers that completely blew out while
firing. Two of these caused malfunctions that had to be emptied out
out of the rifle, but one still cycled.

On the plus side the ADCOM groups were better than Wolf.

I'm reasonably certain that the two boxes of ADCOM I picked up a couple of months ago was from 1999. One round out of each box would not clear crimp.

Is this only the 99 batch? Or are the ones with the 04 headstamp included in this?

I will sort out some other years in sufficient quantity to test. I had a bunch
of 99 sitting out so that's what I shot. I figured if internet lore was that this
year was the worst, I needed to know that up front. I have mixed years and
a big pile of it to shoot from.

All the components look good, just not primed right.
