I promised updates and apologize for the long delay. Life is a busy and rewarding experience these days and I get sidetracked easily.

Here goes:

1. The new Knoxx Web site (www.knoxx.com) is up and running. It features a new look and feel, updated videos, and updated installation and usage instructions. Watch for on-line installation videos, customer video and photo uploads, a customer feedback section, and a new products announcement section. The install videos and a new SpecOps Folder video are in post-production and will be up soon.

2. The SpecOps Folder is now shipping and production volume is building as our assembly team gains experience. We are a few thousand units behind so there will still be a wait for some of you.

3. Check out the Fabarms Website for photos of the SpecOps NRS on the Fabarms Semi and Pump “Professional Telescoping” Shotguns (Very nice looking guns!)—To bad those Italians “aren’t recoil sensitive” or they would really love the SpecOps Stock.

4. Keep your eyes pealed for Knoxx-equipped products being released by many major manufacturers. These included shotgun and rifle manufacturers and a few companies that may surprise you.

5. New Products: The Axiom RF (Rimfire—Ruger 10-22®) stock is in its final design phase. The Rear Adjustable stock will also be available for AR-15s so you AR-guys can go Knoxx all the way. It looks great and will be a hot item.

The RSF (Recoil Suppression Forend) is at about the same point in its progress. It has been successfully tested by industry-professionals and the military with enthusiastic results. The rail-mounted version will be the first version released.

Brand new is the CompStock Evolution. This fully self-contained recoil reduction mechanism can be mounted onto any firearm stock. It has already been successfully tested with the Weatherby .460 Magnum and worked flawlessly, with and without the muzzle brake. The first prototype is headed to Africa to be part of a big media event that will be promoted worldwide. The Evolution prototype recipient stated that the mechanism inside his McMillan stock made his .416 Weatherby “the best big rifle in the world.” The Evolution should really open up the market for a wide variety of new applications. Look for it late this year.

That’s the news for now. I hope that you are all well.

Good shooting,

CaCrusin

I love my Spec Ops

On my Mossberg 500

It feels great. 3" Magnum loads (00 buck) still let you know they are there, but other than that. Chews through #7 shot like a .22

I am going bone stock on m next shotty, but that will be a skeet gun anyway.

/Salute to Knoxx for making a great stock!

I have a Knoxx on my 870 and really like it.
Can this technology be adapted to inertta operated automatics like the Benelli? Would it cause malfunctions like when someone "limp wrists" a 1911?

I would really like a Knoxx on my Super 90

The sidewinder was the only thing that put them on the map for me.
It had great reviews, seemed built very rugged and durable, and is now discontinued. Even if you can find one, it is not that great without a market from which to purchase new magazines and drums.

Very sad.

Like I said if not for the sidewinder I would have never looked at any of thier products. Most of them are very similar to those offered by many others. The truly unique successful thing that made them stand out as a company was the sidewinder conversion.

I just picked up a Knoxx Copstock folder for my 870. Very solid, but I'd like it to be a bit more comfortable...But the recoil reduction does seem to work. I don't shoot a shotgun that much, and this is my truck gun. I'd have put a Specops collapsible on it, but I needed the compactness of a folder...

An email I just sent to Knoxx:

I know I speak for a lot of people (especially the online gunboard crown, which encompasses a lot of buying power) when I ask that you bring back the Sidewinder. The kits alone are bringing double their original MSRP on the auction sites, not to mention the demand for extra mags and drums. Whatever your manufacturing issues were, I am certain they can be rectified, especially with the backing of a huge brand like Blackhawk.

The US Army currently uses thousands of Mossberg 500s. A simple modification to your design would make it compatible with the screw-mounted barrels the Army models employ and the Sidewinder design would provide much better capacity and speed of reloading for US troops. Given leniant wartime ordering restrictions, the simplicity of the conversion, and the fact that it is a "mo," not a new weapon, many units would surely put in orders if given the chance.

The R&D and tooling has already been done; please put them back into production.

Good for you, Lt. While I've little personal use for the Sidewinder,I'd like to see it available.

If only to tweak the Hoplophobes.

Looks good...

I have a CompStock on my 1300, and I love it.

One question, though, concerning your rifle stocks.....

What about SAVAGE?!?!? (Insert mental picture of someone sitting on the ground, kicking their heels and throwing a temper tantrum)

Waaaaaaah!!!! :p

I've been waiting on a SpecOps NRS for over six weeks now, and last time I called, they had pushed the expected date back another two weeks... saying mid-March...

I hope the two-and-a-half-month wait is worth it.
