Ok 1st off, any handgun with a sling swivell is officialy cool.

It shoots .454 casul .45lc and a few more.

"""We all grew up hearing the phrase, "Faster than a speeding bullet..., " but not when it is fired from Smith & Wesson's new Model 460XVR, with the highest muzzle velocity of any production revolver on earth. The Model 460XVR is so revolutionary that it required an entirely new designation...XVR, X-treme Velocity Revolver."""

so how fast is the new .460 shell?

I like this one to -- but the 2400 fps I bet is toned down with the sht brl. THX!

I have two of the PC 460's shown above, the black and stainless. They are great shooters. Mine are sequentially numbered and only 500 made like this.

You know, this is one of the first of the new, near rifle powered, revolvers I have any kind of interest in. It is more powerful than .454Casull (and can shoot it if you want to) but according to a gun mag I read the recoil is comparable to a middle level .44mag. Seems like about the perfect gun for bear defense while camping- that kind of power with (relatively) low recoil sounds pretty capable.
