The RIGHT Mags for 1911's

After experiencing several rather embarrassing failures with my name brand 8 and 10 round magazines at a certain NC range, my host has graciously ceased reminding me of my stubbornness. He just hands me a well worn 7 round mag with a stock dimpled follower and smiles. Now even my CMC 10 round mags have the flat dimpled follower and hold 9 rounds that are consistently deployed reliably

I use CMC Power andShooting Star mags with no problems in my Colt. Others that work without fail, Colt of course, and the gov't contract overruns made by High Standard that Midway was clearing for $4.95. They actually have a very strong spring in them.
