The Safest Way to clean after shooting corrosive ammo?

So what do you do with a pail full of water contaminated by lead and God knows what else?

I brew my coffee with it. That way I absorb the spirit of the rifle along with my morning dose of caffeine. Unfortunately the spirit of the rifle seems to make me irritable and has given me several nervous twitches, insomnia and an inability to concentrate. Oh well, I guess that's just the price you pay for becoming one with your shooting iron.
