To summarize:
A person denied a CCW by LEO
open carries an AK47.
Many focus on the legality of his actions, or the common sense of his actions, failing to see the illegality of the entire concept of a government agency issuing 'permits' for 48 dollars each, for a right that was considered so important it is the SECOND Amendment.
I live in a county where a legal permit for CCW hasn't been issued in years, thanks to collusion between local law enforcement police chiefs. They got caught at it, and, we had a bit of an issue: Contra Costa County.
The entire issue makes me want to throw up. How when our Constitution
states CLEARLY "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be
infringed" the only protectors of that right seems to be the Judiciary and attorneys? Perhaps it will take massive public carry events to get people to recognize the inherent right to self-defense.
Heller made pretty clear the legality of 'ccw license issuing' schemes, and, their real goal, to deprive us of a Constitutional right.
The real question is why aren't more of us doing exactly what this man is doing, and, if we can't, why aren't we supporting those that can/are/will?

90,000 permits issued, at 48 dollars each. FOUR MILLION, 320,000 DOLLARS STOLEN FROM THE PEOPLE OF MICHIGAN, BY their legislature.
