I have an Emerson Commander with the wave feature. It is one of the first off the production line. In 1997 or so, I was lucky enough to be able to take a weeklong "alternate force" CQB class and Ernie was one of the instructors. Ernie gave me a great deal on my knife, but I have always known that it is a pretty valuable knife, so I don't like to carry it very often. I saw Delica Wave from Spyderco in a recent "GUNS" article and I decided that I like the wave feature on the Commander so I ordered one. I got it for way below than MSRP, but I don’t know if it was the best price out there.
