I learned that Sellier & Belliot red box 158 Gr. LRN .38 Special is really cheap ammo. I put some in my new J-Frame Airweight, and the recoil unseated two of the bullets far enough to stop the cylinder from rotating before I stopped using it. Magtech LRN didn't have a problem.
I learned that black box Wolf 62gr. .223 that I purchased two years ago (lacquer coating,) is not the best ammo to shoot in your brand newly built Stag AR-15. Two shots, and the chamber was so gunked up, that the next cartridge jammed so tight out-of-battery that I had to remove the upper from the lower and bang on the bolt carrier to get the bolt into battery. After that, I could eject the spent casing. I tried some brass cartridge ammo after that, but it was a no-go. Gonna have to clean the hell out of it now.
I learned that if you invite somebody to shoot your gun, and you turn your back for a few minutes to unjam your new expensive rifle, they'll shoot up a box of your .45 ACP in no time flat.
I've learned that my new J-Frame is Minute-of-serving-platter at 15 yards.
Hmm, that probably covers it.
