thinking of getting 223 cal. bolt action .

Any make's and model's and even better caliburs you know of I am looking for something small maybe 223.or a 243. please tell me what you think I have two 303. calibur rifle's and am looking for something that wont empty my pocket's and break my shoulder but I do love the 303.

Without breaking the bank, the Savage rifles are a good starting point. What do you intend to do with this rifle, and at what distance? Punch paper, hunt, long distance steel? Do you reload? What kind of glass are you willing to put on it?

I have a bunch of .223's

I have a Browning Abolt, great gun, super accurate
Remington M-700 LTR, super accurate, perfect size for me, maybe my favorite
Remington M-7, great truck, walking varmint rifles, Camping/SD, love this one too.
Ruger M-77, best all around rifle super accurate, durable, great ranch rifle, a bit heavy.
Stevens 200, great value. Just sold it so I can buy a Savage with Accu-Stock.

They are lots of fun. I love to shoot mine. Cheap, accurate, deadly on most things.
