Maybe we’re all drifting a bit too much from the topic. Balrog, if you like your Colt there are plenty of points to be made for buying a second one.
If you trust S&W to be around for service they’re a viable option, but my opinion on that; I think they’re really struggling right now between T/Cs that no one is buying, revolvers that are priced beyond much market demand, M&Ps splintering off into Shields/Bodyguards/2.0s- I’m seeing warning signs so maybe consider that if service is a concern.
Ruger has some of the best service of any company I have dealt with to date. Do I like the non-typical parts of their ARs? No, not really but my prejudice stems from lack of familiarity rather than experience.
PSA is still where my browser wanders back to time after time and I don’t have any reason as yet why they won’t continue to be my source for inexpensive rifles that run.
