This or that?

Going to the range today and will be renting a pistol. I am interested in renting a sig229 or a walther p99. I can only rent one. Any suggestions? Any one have any info/feedback on one or the other? Both?

I own both, and I'd punch you as hard, as fast, and as often as I could before parting with either one.

Seriously, it doesn't matter to me which one you pick. Flip a coin. They're both excellent handguns. It's just a matter of which type of frame you prefer: alloy or polymer. With either one you'll work up a thirst.
