This should make you all laugh!

As stated Im not accusing, Im asking. Once again not putting words into anyones mouth, just seeking some clarity in the statement, as it is a read into what im saying type statement. If I misinterpretted than my mistake, I appologize. Thanks.

I know its fake, but what makes me laugh is the guy admiting to felonys... when people commit felonys then either tape themselfs doing it or talk about it all over the net, it always makes me smile.

I am not a mind reader but I don't see a racial undertone. It's funny how people love jumping to that conclusion when there are other explanations.

Ain't that the truth.

Well I posted it and I don't think it's legit honestly but sure does make for a good read.

To me it sounds more like a victim's fantasy after the fact. Maybe he really did get mugged and didn't have a pistol but fantasizes the outcome something more along these lines and making the mugger feel how it feels if the tables were turned.

You know how when somebody says something and you don't really respond only to come up with a perfect response later and think to yourself, man I should have said it this way, etc. This seems more along the lines of that.

Even if it was posted in the Savannah Craig's List it seems more just someone blowing off steam that the real deal.

I'm sure we have all thought how we would handle such a situation and what it would be like to have the other shoe drop for once.

Just my two cents. It certainly made me laugh though! :)

It's probably a feel-good post so that the thugs who read (the ones who can read) Craigslist will get to poke fun of each other all night and ask if that was his homeboy that got clowned.

I have seen this on the net for about a week or so. Not sure if it really came from craigslist or not. If so lots of places are taking credit for it.
It is pretty funny.

It's nothing new. Seen these in one form or another for about a year or so already and probably been around longer than that.

The funny thing is it probably is the other way around as in the perp is the one who made the victim poo his pants and took his phone and made all those calls and whatnot. Then the vic turns the story around as a way to vent and deal with it.

Hey, whatever works.

Lets say this did happen, hypothetically speaking.
If the guy didn't post the event on the internet, what are the chances he WOULDN'T get away with it? I don't think the mugger is going to file a police report.

You'll be surprised at the type of reports filed by criminals. By definition, they are not the smartest people.

We had complaints of theft from people who complained that they didn't get the drugs they paid for or that they were ripped off because they were selling a stolen TV and the other guy took it and ran.

My favorite episode of cops was the one in New Mexico where the crazy lady flagged down the patrolman and said she got robbed. The cop asked her what happened and she pointed to another lady sitting on her porch and said she gave her $20 for a crack rock and didn't get it. The cop asked the lady on the porch if that is true and she responded she ain't no drug dealer, she's a prostitute. That episode makes me ROFL everytime I see it, it never gets old.

Man, you get all types out there. That's entertainment you can't buy at any price.

After a long, cold, stressful :banghead:(locked both sets of keys in my Bronco):cuss: night at work that story, true or not, really hit the spot.

"...At that point it's not self-defense, it's robbery and bloodlust."

A little trick I learned in Eye Corps is that letting self-defense mix with bloodlust is O.K. if there are no remaining witnesses. Being treated for PTSD for all of that. But in a mugger situation I just might flash-back. Never can say. PTSD Precious Thorazine Solves Dilemmas.

I'm calling B.S.. Someone pulls a knife on me I'm double-tapping him in the chest with my snub .357 loaded with Hyrdashocks. If he needs more to drop I'll keep applying as necessary. I'm not going to take the chance he might get the upper hand while I'm playing smug idiot. Afterwards, after calling your lawyer to let him know (I have three pro-2nd, pro-self-defense lawyers on my phone I know personally and have told me to give them a call if there is ever trouble), then I'm calling the cops. And being damn sure to repeat "I feared for my life, he said he was going to kill me and my girlfriend, and I'll cooperate further once I've spoken with my lawyer."

Yeah we'd all rather not have to cross the line of killing someone but in snap second life or death situations, the fact that someone dies three tenths of a second after hitting the ground from a doubletap to the high chest (solar plexus, or heart) or three days later in the hospital, is not a matter for concern. Abiding by the law, respecting the rules of shooting (be sure what is behind what/who you are shooting at, shoot to stop the danger, don't shoot to kill). Playing idiot is never wise.

Now granted not all mugging situations are life or death, but there are statistics that say that 'active cooperation' is more likely to result in death than active resistance, and plenty of muggers kill their victims after robbing them, so anyone looking to mug, in my opinion, has accepted they are prepared to commit suicide by crime and are okay with dying and so there's no reason to feel bad about it. So if they pull a knife and are pointed in my relative direction and they are not acting in self-defense and are not law enforcement, they are getting shot. No talking, no negotiating, no waiting. See knife, then point-shoot high in the chest (I can do on silhouette, snap from the pocket out to seven yards), they drop, then make the calls. And be sure to call the local police department(not 911) and let them call the ambulance. Don't be a criminal, don't have to worry.

Actually, the prostitute/drug dealer episode was from Ft. Worth. I was living in Dallas when that one came on. It is my all-time favorite Cops moment. I still laugh everytime I see it.

Now that's funny. don't care who you are, forgive me Lord.

P.S. I really needed the laugh.

I agree wholeheartedly that once the criminal commits his act of using deadly force against me, he has taken his life in his own hands and pretty much... my hands too... except my hands will have a firearm in them and his will probably be grasping his aerated chest.

However, the legal and political climate in California is not quite so nice to people who are free and choose to defend themselves... so it is not so cut and dry here, unfortunately.
