Investigators looking for 32 guns stolen in Payson murder

PAYSON -- Utah County investigators are looking for 32 guns believed to have been stolen from murder victim Kay Mortensen.

Mortensen was found murdered at his home in Payson Canyon in November. Detectives say the guns have been sold or traded in what may have appeared to buyers to have been legitimate transactions.

Mortensen's family continues to offer a $25,000 reward for information into his murder. His son, Roger Mortensen, has been named as a person of interest in the case.

Among the stolen weapons: a .40-caliber Baretta, a .45-caliber Sigarms Revolution and a .223-caliber Ruger semiautomatic rifle. CLICK HERE for a complete list of the stolen guns and their serial numbers.

Why can journalists never spell Beretta correctly? I'm surprised to see Ruger was correct in the article, usually it's "Rugar." These things are not difficult to look up.
 
Rifles in with handguns and shotguns, descriptions rather vague.
Sad story, all the way around.
